The TX5 Natural Language Technology

ActivePoint's patented TX5 system is a contextual dialogue orientated natural language system that is combined with engines that utilize rule-based reasoning and algorithms. The TX5 systems are able to automate virtually many of the on-line service/sales/CRM processes. Our system's uniqueness is that it has the ability to not only find products but also to educate, convince, suggest relevant products, answer natural language questions, compare products, handle objections and offer alternatives, and ultimately encourage the customer to purchase much like a live assistant.
The TX5 system is a server-side application designed with a flexible, object-oriented architecture for seamless integration with the company's existing databases, web servers, and other applications on the website. The system can also take advantage of repetitive questions by learning them and improving on its ability to provide answers. The system setup is performed by the TX5 commander which is a new innovative product.

After being provided with the relevant information in an easy format, such as a simple excel sheet, the TX5 Commander will transform the data into a knowledge base. Following a customization process performed by the ActivePoint Application Team, the TX5 system will be ready to work.
The TX5 system is a software package that requires no programming and does not require the on-line user to download any plug-ins.
The TX5 system is built from multiple intelligent engines. Each of these engines has a defined task. The process will always utilize the most knowledgeable and relevant engine, for the purpose of conducting the dialogue. As many engines are employed, they become very effective by communicating and sharing the information amongst themselves. This process therefore vastly empowers the engines level of combined intelligence and performance, and the dialogue is kept relevant because the most suitable engine is always the one that participates. The engines enable the system to compare, suggest, convince, negotiate, offer, answer simple or complex natural language queries, and most importantly perform a flexible dialogue, adapted in real time according to the user's needs.
The TX5 engines platform is built under C++ with an Object Oriented design and a scalable architecture. Some of the engines were implemented using server technologies in C++ and Logic Programming languages. The server technology enhances the system's ability to scale as well as to provide better separation of smart processes working in parallel. The TX5 tools implementation was developed over cross platform concepts, supporting virtually most operating systems. The TX5 system currently works on windows platform and is being converted to work also on Linux platform. Everything that transpires in the system is saved on SQL databases, which enables the creation of on-line reports using the TX5 Reporting Tool.
The ActivePoint patent for Virtual Sales Rep was approved in the US. Altogether three patents were in approved in the US, with another pending in Europe and the US.
